Simple change to the FS/WTB threads? (in General)

Is there anyway to possibly flag those cms that come to your through a FS/WTB thread? Maybe just a small pink dot beside it, it doesnt have to be drastic just something that helps indicate it was sent through your FS/WTB thread.

This is good for when you get multiple cms from people and you're not sure which ones pertain to your sell.


Just a small suggestion. Just thought it up. Isn't anything fancy, but if you feel like you need to flame me be my guest. I can take the heat. =D

1. You don't remember your own sales ?
2. You can't even differentiate the context of a CM whether it's for your sales or it's just a simple chat ??
3. Jon is busy. As well as other developers

Ren: It's not like you can't tell which are chat and which arent. It's just for the sake of simply being able to glance at it and say "oh yeah, thats from my sell" without having to read it. It will also let you know, depending on who it is, which cms should hold priority.

Also, i know there are some people like me that dont even look at there cms until later when they have time. Maybe this will catch there eye and let them make a note off to the side in Notepad right then and there.

Sure i know jon has alot of stuff on his "to do list". It's not like i'm trying to burden the man. Just making a simple suggestion that will allow you to quickly acknowledge the cm is from your sell. After all the whole switch of the FS/WTB sell was big to begin with. Why not put this small little thing there to help sellers out? It's not like it's going to hurt anyone.

So now i'm sure you're going to come back at me with some more trash about this idea. Go for it, because i don't understand why you think it's such a bad idea to begin with.


Stephen: Pink was just an example. Maybe as a supporter they would get a list of possible colors. lol, idk. I thought about this really late at night.

i don't feel like defending myself completly with this suggestion. It's never worth it in the long run, There is always something to complain about and this community always finds that something. So from here on out i'll selectivly pop in.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to make those specific cm's be marked in such a manner without adding a table to the database, and I doubt Jon's going to want to make that sort of change for such a cosmetic reason. Perhaps it would be easier to post a desired convention for your sale responses, including maybe things like your sale price or something. Just a suggestion.
