The company I work for have always allowed carnage blender to slip under the net of the firewall and various other checks to make sure I'm spending my time appropriately between 9am and 5pm.
Today I've had a bit of an issue while browsing forums. There's one thread that I can't seem to access and I believe I understand why.
I can't view the thread "Elros's stupid mistake!!!Admin please HELP" and looking at the url I can see the last 3 letters are "sex". Yup, that's gonna set the alarms bells wringing at IT central :)
I've been playing for a long while and never had a "sex" problem in the past so I'm not looking for Jon to make any changes to how the urls are created (I don't even know if this is possible) but I just thought I'd share my little issue with you.
PS. Doesn't matter if I navigate to the thread using a seperate window (to see the full url), the carnageblender.com/main... or the IP address. I can't access that one thread alone no matter how I try.

I believe the company you work for is French? That may explain it. If it were British, it would have recognized the difficulties with using such a filtering strategy, as too many places in the UK contain that word ;)

lol....well from aaa~ZZZ that is 42 characters, and 42 ^ 3 = 74088.
1 out of 74088, I guess Elros just hit a small jackpot =).
GJ Elros...I guess...^_^`
btw I forgot the SEX, so there 1/37004 to hit either "sex" or "SEX".

You mean they allow you to play because it wastes less time than if you were trying to crack the firewall??? :)
