See title.
Trees and light posts were tossed around like salad plain and simple.
You mean, light posts were actually flattened to the ground? Must have been one heck of a storm. Have you had any damage done to your home?
Think that was the point of the thread and the line about trees and light posts being tossed around like helicopter leafes in the wind.
Sorry to hear that man! Truly must suck!
So, errr, what I seem to have understood is that his house was indeed damaged, or even razed? I'm sorry for my incomprehension, my english is still very much imperfect. If that is the case, I'm truely sorry for what has happened man.

Razed! Great word!
...ahem...
Anyway... I've had a few of my own "my house got punk'd" stories so I know how you feel.
To Ashilizator: Nothing like that. And there was no damage to the house luckily.
And to everyone who may or may not read this the storm was a freaking _behemoth_. It knocked the electricity out until 11:36 PM and left some billboards hanging.
11:36 p.m. on Sept. 28th? And it just came back on Oct. 11th? Or was there some other significance to the 11:36 p.m. part?

*Bast, must you nitpick everything? :)
To Bast: The network over here got smashed to bits by that storm as well.
