Yeah, so I'm a fair weather fan, but who can blame me? The Tigers have sucked bad the past few years. I guess that's what makes beating the Yanks and having that 3 games to nil lead on Oakland so special. Tigers for the pennant!

Sorry, Gnu. At least you can find solace in the fact that Oakland has somehow managed to be consistently good for years and years. I'll probably have to wait another 22+ years for a season as good as this one.

As far as the Red Wings are concerned, I'm afraid that the people of Florida don't believe that hockey is actually a sport. It's never on television here, but it sounds like I missed a good game!

i have a question about the world series. Do pitchers bat or not? in the American league pitchers dont bat but in the National league pitchers do bat.

This is World Series will be a joke, the Tigers as so much better in every aspect that I fully expect a sweep.

I do believe that the Tigers get to use their designated hitter the whole series and the Cards use their pitcher. It's either that, or the home team dictates which rules they abide by. I don't remember. It's been such a long time since I cared about watching a World Series...
