So I trained a base UC, which yields 50 (0). I added a Combat Gi, which boosted it to 28,191 (4) --- that's not 10, as per the wiki. Then I added a Hard Leather Cap, which killed the UC down to 50(0). Is this at all correct?
Ok, so the various combinations of a combat Gi, HG's, and a HLC make for some pretty interesting results -- not the least of which is the fact that the Gi most assuredly doesn't add a fixed amount of UC.

A CGi adds ten to my char's UC. Just checked that and don't see anything weird going on.
Mage armours take 5 off UC. And I'm presuming they don't go into negative level. So 5 from 4 takes it down to base instead of -1.
(Just a little sidestep in this thread - UC level (0) is x1 on the UC weapon)

And that's all mage armours, including footwear. The addition of the EC also adds to the skill level...
a hard leather cap doesn't have a minus to UC. Even if it did, a Gi by itself on a base UC goes to 4. No other armor equipped.

I'm still getting a +10 to UC from my Gi.
And a HLC does have a UC penalty of -5 as do the rest of the leather set.
Ok, fine HLC does have a minus 5. But home come on a base UC with nothing equipped by a Gi +53, I get an UC score of 4?
Ok, nevermind. It goes to 9 from base. So at base, with nothing equipped by a Gi, it goes to an efect of 9. When I add HG +11 which adds +16, it gets bumped to 26. That's just weird. Anyway, nevermind.
:D Been known of for a while. ;) The Gi should give +10 to the Effect, but for some reason, if you're UC is base it gives +9. ;)
