Supporter Item choice for Newbies (in General)

Yo, finally got a referral from my link :)

When I put that ad on Cricket Manager, I was expecting like hundreds of people in droves to flock to CB2 immediately, instead its been nearly 10 days and now I've got just one referral.

Anyway, that got me thinking about the welfare of new players who wish to become supporters, especially with regard to the nature of the current Supporter Item.

Now, don't get me wrong, the Amulet of Focus is good in places, but for a newbie, I'm sure its all wrong. For a choice of good Newbie item, think Rune of Enlightenment, or Jigorokano Familiar, or perhaps even the Amulet of Invisibility. But, surely not the AoF :)

So, the solution I wish to provide is something like this:

Allow the newbie a choice of supporter items, a radio button click option between RoE, JKF and AoI. There can be a short description of the utility of each item alongside to help the newbie make a good choice, unlike the current scenario in which the AoF is foisted on them.

I think Jon has decided to break away from the previous supporter items wherein they were stronger early on, and lost effectiveness as you progressed. Now it is quite the opposite actually, the VB, MgS and both amulets are evidence of this. So, I don't think a choice for newbies is really necessary, since they won't be able to take full advantage of the item until later anyways.
