TheoryBlender: What if CB... (in General)

...Had a ladder where you could not spend USD (other than supportership), and without a NUB or NCB.

I think its economy would be more stable :)

I realize this will proabably never happen or even be considered but its still fun to TheoryBlend what a CB would be like if this Feature was added to the mix. From a coding angle i am clueless as to the time and resources needed to do something like this. I imagine its probably too much for the server resources to run at the same time...keep in mind i do not know what the specs on the system are and could be way off base.

Anyways...what would it do to CB in your opinion if it had a seperate ladder for non-usd, non NCB/NUB players who want a purist environment?

You mean what if the tourney code had gotten finished?

I was not around to see what tourneys were like, but i've read alot about it, and man would I compete...even if i did not stand a chance XD

tournies would give reasoning for vets to play more often, its playing all out for a week, no time advantage or NUB/NCB (at least that is what i think.

Maybe have a tourney that lasts one month and there will be a cash prize at the end of the tourney for the top 10. That would encourage people to compete. There's not "much" competition now because large nw is needed to really stay at the top.

Tournies used to be weekly which allowed anyone competing to have a chance at keeping up.
A month long tourney would be too much as a lot of people would not be able to keep up for that long.
