kx5's i-may-be-leaving contests (in Contests)

kx5 [The Lotus Cross] November 13 2006 9:09 PM EST

Okay, I've been losing interest in carnage blender after i considered how much time it takes away from my homework(college classes are ramping up in difficulty now), my job, and my hobbies(which include programming, animating, musician, etc). If anyone could give me a good reason why i should(or should not) leave, I'll send you 50,000 $cb. I'm looking for an elaborate answer; one other than "You help out the clan a lot" or "You farm my clan too much. You should leave"(hopefully not a real answer).

Also, if you tell me, with a good reason, what flavor pie(pie > cake) i should eat, I'll send you 10,000 $cb.

And to go along with the trend of flavors, tell me what kind of juice i should drink. The reward will be the same as the pie one.

ok. I think that you should not leave, as it doesn't require that much time as it appears. Only if you want to make it be that way.

You can make money playing this game, and it requires 5-10 minutes every 2-3 hours that you can afford it.

Players that are fairly big, can do this rather quickly(get money that is) Which you can sell to get stuff. Like pie, and juice.

Can you pass up a game that can get you free Blueberry pie, and Fruit punch?

Kong Ming November 13 2006 9:16 PM EST

You should not leave yet. There are so many different strategies in fighting to explore in cb. I would try out using different tattoos in different setups if I were you, it would be great if you can chance on a strategy that is both effective and not used by many yet :)

If CB is making your success at school difficult, quit, or play less, you should not even ask yourself that question.

Homework>CB

Also if its not fun anymore, you shouldn't play. A game is meant to be fun.

Now, I don't know you, so I can't say I WANT you to leave :), but you gotta put your priorities at the right place, and decide what you enjoy more.

At the ponit you are now, even questionning if you must leave should tell you loads about what is the best course of action...

Sorry if i'm not helpful man, just trying to say what I think is right.

First, I want to give you my answer: should you keep playing or not? I think no.

I think CB by definition takes time. If you're looking to waste BA with the fastest finger in the west and watch random numbers slowly increase, then you're not playing CB. Playing CB, methinks, is emerging yourself in to an online community (though I'm being a hypocrite since I'm a social hermit). What's the point of endless mouse clicking if you're not going to be able to chat about strategy, read the forums and so forth? You may as well watch paint dry.
On top of this, multiplayer games in general is about competition against other players, and it's all about measuring one's, uh, "assets" (am I going to be reset for this? XD) against anothers. Playing casually is rather pointless, 'cause let's face it, no one likes to lose all the time.
And as for money? Please, pick up a part time job that pays $7 an hour and you will probably make more money than Ranger and DAWG's characters put together.

My last point: if you lost interest in an activity simply due to the time it takes, could you really argue that you enjoy that activity? Hell, I'm a musician myself and I strive to fit every last of my free time into playing guitar (when I should be doing assignments) and I ENJOY it, rather than lose interest in it since it's taking so much time. Ask yourself, why did you lose interest in CB in the first place? Perhaps the seduction of constant strategizing and competition doesn't attract you anymore.

In regards to pies, I think you should eat a pastry-less apple crumble pie. It's amazingly easy to make with the absence of the pastry, and still tasty and guilty as hell. All you need is flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon and good apples. The beauty of it is, you can also opt to swap the apples for other seasonal fruits: experiment with berries, peaches, mangos - the possibilities are endless! Serve with a dollop of high quality vanilla ice cream or freshly whipped cream (hot from the oven) along with fresh fruit, and your spouse/partner/gf/family/friend will suddenly look at you in a different light.

With juice, I think you should drink the juice of the nearest citric fruit tree from where you live. Nothing beats freshly squeezed juice, and on top of that it's freakin' free!!! Well, save from the time it took you to harvest and squeeze. Oh, but if you're gonna do it with lemons, you'll need to sweeten her up a little or you will have an intersting facial for the rest of the day...

If you read this whole thing, I apologise for the time I took away from your hobbies and studies.

I agree 99.9% with Ashilizator.

The 0.01% doubt is if you can meet all the conditions below:

(1) That you play a non-clan character because it is less pressure.
(2) That you try a character with a setup you have never tried before and that you play ONLY that character.
(3) That you can limit your play time to no more than 20 minutes a day maximum.
(4) That you never look at your battle log.

If you cannot meet all of the above conditions, then I gave you the same advice as Ashilizator: "Quit and do real important, real life things."

If you can meet the above conditions, I garantee that you will realy find out if you like this game and it wll not affect you school results.

Dude you have to stay even if you only play 10,15 min. a day.Plug away is a big part of the secret of life.As long as its still fun play.If it becomes a chore don't play but you will come back {{I COMMAND YOU !}}.........Ahhh! now PIE is pleasing to the more refined taste buds .Pie is joy in pastery ,sweetness in life, happiness on a plate. They are all worthy of your sampling ,but might I suggest an elder berry pie ? I haven't had one in decades and I find my self wishing for another taste. But me and swamps ,well the blood suckers love me too much. So If you have a hide of iron and a yearning give it a try you will not be sorry!

Victimizer November 13 2006 9:57 PM EST

Rhubarb Pie, why you may ask? It is a delectable dish and is not a usual first pick. Many may tell you Apple, but why go with the same ol' same old when you can try something different?
As for Juice I would say Blueberry-Pomegranete. Sweet nectar of the earth. Not much more needs to be said about the juice.

As for the whole CB stay/quit issue, do whatever fits your needs best, it is your decision to make and nevertheless what I tell you, most likely you have your mind made up already and I cannot sway you one way or the other.

Miandrital November 13 2006 10:49 PM EST

Pecan Pie!

Xenko November 13 2006 11:01 PM EST

You should leave because you obviously aren't having any more fun. If it isn't fun for you, why spend you time doing it, especially when you could be doing more important things in real life.

As to what kind of pie, I would like to say blueberry, as it is my favourite fruit, but in terms of pie, Strawberry-Rhubarb just can't be beat. Two delectable fruits that complement each other well, the sweet strawberry complementing the tangy rhubarb. A combination that can't be beat.

As for juice, you can't go wrong with good old apple juice. Sweet and smooth, it's not acidic like orange juice, and not as tart as lemonade. You can drink it whenever you want because apple juice goes with everything.

i don't feel like actually choosing the BEST answer...so...I'll work it like a lottery.

*is generating a random number*

i used random.org and the random number is 7. The seventh poster gets all of it.
>_>
<_<
*leaves cb*
