Heavy tank strategy - Come right in :) (in General)

I was thinking of a heavy tank strategy but has always been hindered by the penalties of the armor. Here's my setup for a heavy tank strategy. Please feel free to comment and suggestions to improve this setup will be more than welcomed.
1st minion: Train HP and STR (Wear Adam, SC, CML, HoD, TG, MS, AoAC & BoTH)
2nd minion: Train PL and AS (Wear RoS, AoF, Corn & axbow)
3rd minion: Train DM and Haste (Wear AoF, Corn & exbow)
4th minion: Train AMF and GS (Wear AoF & Corn)
Come right in ;)
If you don't want a ranged weapon on one minion, it might be best to use PL on that minion.
This is more of a 4T team than a heavy Tank team. :) The Heavy tank won't have their STR/DEX from Haste/GS reduced by their armour. BL for the skill on the Tank?
I'm gonna cogitate on this. ;)
"The Heavy tank won't have their STR/DEX from Haste/GS reduced by their armour."
Seriously??
right, but GS will not be increased too..
So? The only ST boosting item is the TG

STR will be from the STR trained by the minion and also from GS. The idea is to build around a heavy tank. DEX is always a problem with heavy armor unless I use an EB instead of a CML but that would lower the AC. The range weapons on the 2nd and 3rd minions are just suggestions ;) Maybe it does look like a 4T setup.

What weapon and skill on tank? And will you train BL on all minions to take advantage of the GS?
Just a few great axe or something.

"And will you train BL on all minions to take advantage of the GS? "
Training BL is pointless on any minion not using a melee weapon.
I fail to see the point of the AoFs on all enchanters. The only benefit is that they get more HP (and PL on #2) this way.
Are you sure you get more ST and DX on your tank this way, compared to a single minion tank with same armor?

"Just a few great axe or something."
Read the whole statement. Right below it.
GS is a waste, you'll need VA or prot, you can train token STR easily if you want to take out enchanters with your enchanters...
Bart, I think the A o F is also to increase the STR/DEX from GS/Haste on the enchanters as well. Just to use the E/AXBows I think.
use a two handed weapon...
BoNE + RoS'ed VA == goodness

GL, then why equip the BTH on the "tank" as the "enchanters" are the ones with the most ST/DX?
IMHO this is a WTTT setup, and not a TEEE one...
I did TEEE, with both ToE and RoS...
it's amazing with both setups, especially the ToE, but you will lose to people at half your level.

I always felt that this would work:
1: HP/ST. Wear Adam, SC, CML, HoD, TG, MgS, AoAC, MH
2: AMF/Haste (RoS) nearly all of it in AMF, a small Haste + RoS level boosted Haste.
Taking this data from my own two minion team, at 680k MPR that'd give you approximately:
1st minion:
550k HP
550k STR (+TG)
2nd minion:
800k AMF
300k Haste + RoS Haste
Assuming the RoS was around 700k level, that's another 350k Haste added.
Your tank's final stats would be:
550k HP
~600k ST
~300k DX
800k AMF
So it seems to me that you'd be very, VERY well protected against both mages and tanks....just beef up the + on the MH and you're good to go.
Did it before I hired two minions on CF...and on CB1...works GREAT!
you also want VA on the tank...
id stick the axbow on the 4th minon or GA will wipe out your PL minion before melee
Your enchanters can wear MCM's aswell :)
i like this strat (similar to my one atm but its nbc time for me soon :)
while your fighting your way up if tanks start farming you consider switching the RoS to the haste minion and when those tanks are on farm them back :) ... only works whilst growing though :(
