Tattoo Of Breakfast (in Off-topic)

QBJohnnywas November 16 2006 7:37 AM EST

So, the new supporter item, the Tattoo of Breakfast is with us. It doesn't provide extra HP, or boost DD spells, or magic up a familiar to take the blows from that big Morg over there.

What it does is provide you the CB player with a hearty breakfast after a night on the CB tiles.

Bacon, fried eggs, baked beans, a couple of sausages, a couple of rounds of toast. Oh and black pudding. A big mug of tea and I'm ready to get back to pulverising my enemies!

So, what's your favourite breakfast? ;)

(the small print: Any resemblance to a real tattoo is coincidental. JW will not take responsibility for any persons sending $6 to Jon expecting breakfast.)

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] November 16 2006 7:45 AM EST

Replace the beans with a proper fried tomato and I'm in :D

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] November 16 2006 7:49 AM EST

OOOooooo and Hash Browns, can't forget those little potato
filled breadcrumb covered bundles of joy ;P

QBJohnnywas November 16 2006 7:55 AM EST

Oh hash browns.....and mushrooms fried in butter........ah bliss......

InebriatedArsonist November 16 2006 7:58 AM EST

I fail to see how blood pudding would soothe my stomach in such a situation, JW. I think I'll have to stick with a nice Belgian waffle, some spicy corned-beef hash and eggs.

My fav when traveling is baguette/rolls (French do the best bread) with a selection of cold meats. Follow that with a fresh fruit salad topped with healthy splodge of yoghurt and wash it all down with freshly squeezed orange juice and that gives the perfect start to the day.

That said, you're more likely to find me at home and on the end of Bacon, eggs (fried sunny side up), sausage (square/lorn), black pudding, fried haggis and a tattie scone or three. Must have a fresh morning roll to make a huge "one-er" with the tattie scone, sausage and egg all playing a part... w00t, now I'm hungry !
Big pot of tea and the Sunday Sport (if wifey is away) or Sunday Times if not and we're sorted.

Bacon, Mushrooms, Sausages, scrambled Eggs, Toast, Orange Juice, All butter croissants and Hash Browns!

:D

But for a night on the tiles, cold left over Extra Large Donner Kebabs. ;)

A Chef Barzoo's 5-cheese omelet, chicken fried steak with country gravy, and some buttermilk biscuits for soppin'. Grape juice, strong black coffee, and Pop Tarts.

Man, I just love eggs! :)

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] November 16 2006 11:30 AM EST

Surrender? Nah, we took croissants for ourselves! :D Just like garlic and onions! ;)

In return we gave the French Shepherd's Pie and Jellied eels. ;)

It was the beer that started it though... Strong continental larger!

Gee whats the matter with shreddies too much sugar and a diet pepsi ?All that fat on a morning stomach ick! And black pudding thats like blood sausages or something like way too rich for me!!P.S. Someone needs to send the spell checker to commercial school.

InebriatedArsonist November 16 2006 1:45 PM EST

"After a night on the CB tiles" was the important phrase, Slashundhack. Sometimes your stomach needs a good fry-up in the morning.

Mem November 16 2006 1:54 PM EST

The fast food variety: Burger King's Enormous Omelet Sandwich, with a round of French Toast Sticks, and, of course, a hearty serving of tots to be washed down with an orange juice, which, disappointingly, has hardly any pulp.

The home cooked variety: A pound of bacon, four over-medium eggs cooked in the bacon grease, four slices of hearty wheat toast, two of which have a slight coating of cinnamon and sugar, and a large glass full of heavy pulp orange juice. And, to top it all off, Queen's 'Under Pressure' playing softly on my stereo on repeat.

(I'm not really sure why you won the rum, Johnny, but it seemed like you should be the one.)

QBJohnnywas November 16 2006 2:20 PM EST

Love rum. Just not at breakfast!

Mem November 16 2006 3:53 PM EST

Hey, it's 5 pm somewhere!

QBJohnnywas November 16 2006 3:58 PM EST

That's true! I'll remember that next time I'm ordering a drink before breakfast!

Adminedyit [Superheros] November 16 2006 4:09 PM EST

Home cooked is the only way to go. A 5 egg omelet with cheese, bacon (crispy and crumbled into the eggs), sauted mushrooms, onions, and green peppers, with a few slices of whole wheat toast and a large mug of coffee.

Or the breakfast of champions = cold pizza and warm beer.

Angel of Death [Hell Blenders] November 16 2006 4:35 PM EST
