hm... UC tank.... where to begin
1) The UC tank will never have as much hp, st and dx as a regular tank, nad will therefore never do as much damage as a regular tank (assuming weapon is as powerful as current UC stat)
2)The UC tank, even with the ToA, will never have as much hp, and in many cases dx as the regular tank, and will certainly never do as much damage (assuming ToA tank has a good weapon)
O.K. so these are not new arguments, but with the new changes to evasion, the whole... ooh UC gives evasion, and you dont have to pay for weapon upgrades argument just doesnt quite cut it
all i'm trying to say is that UC should either do more damage now, or it should grant you minimal st and dx, (a UC effect of 100 grants oh, lets say 100k st/dx)
this is just a thought, and as usuall, teh final decision is with jon, but i was thinking on what might make UC, a bit fore of a attractive choice

Have you just brought a UC character or something?

Isn't a UC strat almost specifically an anti-tank strat? I have a lot of trouble beating a UC guy compared to a similarly matched PR tank or mage. As usual, its not that they're underpowered, they are just meant to specifically kill one group. I do think UC should be able to triple and quad hit more often though because realistically someone could punch much quicker and often than someone could swing a large blade.

I think UC char are good the way it is, maybe the base damage should be higher than what a BONE can do or ignore 50% of AC, since Mr Kano should have some inner energy thing that burst through the hardest armour :P.
But that's not really crucial, I like them now, but I would love them more if there's some sort of enhancement hehe

I agree with Mitt. UC is great the way it is, but only when it's used properly. :)

A UC tank can get away with having lower strength if he has higher dex, and vice versa. At least in tank vs tank battles. I've switched from UC to evasion this week and equipped a Morg on my guy. An x1700 Morg on my guy only does about 50k more per strike than my UC of (66). At higher levels that gap changes obviously but UC's damage isn't all that UC is about. If you use UC properly it's a very handy little strat. I was hitting scores of FIVE times my MPR and FOUR times my PR.
How much more attractive do you want it? Free physical damage, capability of multiple strikes per round AND evasion?
If it doesn't work for you then buy a weapon and go normal tank.

i love UC teh way it is, i was just thinking, that there are so many ways to make it better, and cooler.
For example, melee combat has weapons which give VA... so why shouldnt UC have a item which gives VA
just stuff like that..... and though it costs about 30M in NW increase, regular tanks can hit 5 times too... UC just gets you that for exp
