Should I bother to upgrade my Ranged Weapon? (in General)

I'm contemplating on whether or not, I should upgrade my ELB, its currently sitting at 1 mil NW (6x100+20) as opposed to my VB sitting at 4 mil NW (75x200+50) the ELB does more damage as well.

Right now, I'm fighting without it equipped, I don't lose any of my fights, so it brings me to the point, should I even bother to upgrade my ELB if I don't need it?

that 600k-ish damage most probably would help in defense, So I equip Slayers with my ELB for defense.

I still hit quite often with my ELB even if it is at +20, I hit at least >50% of the time.

I've been upping my VB, it's nice, it doesn't need ammo :P

It seems to buy all your BA, you use quite a lot of arrows, so right now, I'm not using my ELB, because its a waste of arrows, If I win every fight, It saves a bit of money.

If you're winning every fight without it why bother upgrading it? But will it help you move up some more if it was boosted and equipped?

My little Elb is about x120 and does nearly as much damage as my Morg (x1700!!). I know which one I'm going to pour money into.

If it aren't broken, don't fix it. If you don't need the ELB why waste the ammo cost. Only equip it with a highly upgraded set of arrows for defence. That's my take on this ;)

Well I ain't much on strat. but why not up your to hit, thats all ways good.Of course December may bring flamethrowers and pixey sticks so what the heck its all a gamble.

You don't base strat improvements on your current fight list. Look to people above you and find out what you need to improve on your strat to beat them. If it requires more damage in ranged, then do so. There's no sense in making upgrades to beat current opponents more drastically. You don't get extra credit for shorter battles.
