oh my, it was his account, and if it was his sister, you told her to make an account, so idealy in my eyes to told him to multi, if she is on his account this his deal, why would you accuse him of a multi, IF hes/shes in his account whats the problem.

One user per account. I did not tell her to multi. I told her to get her own account.

are you telling me that if i wanted to have my old lady play, then its a multi if she creates her own account and we have the same IP but its also a multi if she uses my account and makes her own char... lol.... that makes tons of sense. then hows this my old lady is gunna play also, we have the same IP sound fun.....

IF two accounts exist under the same IP isn't that not the fist sign of being a multi??

No the rule is that two people can not play on the same account. They can though have two separate accounts on the same IP address. Just don't make any one-sided transfers between those two accounts though.

-Yes...this is one of the definitions of being a multi...one person PER account is all that is allowed in CB2.

LOL how is that a multi, there is no benefit to having to people play on the same account, its not like you would make BA, other than sleeping in shifts and there is no rule about that either.

As Dei says: one user per account. A multi is one person with many accounts or more than one person playing on one account.

there are many advantages it could have, if you have different work patterns and have no access at work, there you go you've already got yourself free BA to use.
Secondly, she could easily create a 'feeder' character and use the extra BA to just fight and then send your main character the cash without any transfer fee and the same with items, nothing looks suspicious then.
The advantages gained are not as big as using 2 accounts but they are also well hidden, especially if the other party does not use chat.
A definition of a multi is pure and simple, don't even try and contest it, merging of accounts or just 2 people on an account was legal in CB1 and just look at how Todd and Spydah took advantage of that with Spid, no thankyou.

Come on guys, calm down. It's just one breach of conduct, and yes, I know it's illegal. But (hypothetically) if you left up CB and your little sister (or brother) went and saw it and typed some random thing, you shouldn't be banned/reset just for that. Now of course, if it happened multiple times, that's a different story.

If I'm completely wrong, I apologize in advance. Just I don't think this shouldn't be blown out of proportions. Something like BadAsh, yes, that was bad.

I just made this post to document some sketchy behavior on TBH's account (maybe he's not even aware of it). My other post's in this thread were meant to educate Legolas...not to irk The_Black_Heart.

Each user has individual responsibility to ensure their account is secure. Letting others use it, either deliberately or by accident, is against the game Terms of Service and may lead to a fine, reset or ultimately a ban. Please make sure no-one else can access your account.

Chat Ops should discuss this with the individual as soon as it becomes clear they are not who they seem to be and /kill if the person does not leave the room as soon as the ToS have been explained.
I'll happily look at any chat logs that an op wants to CM or email to me thereafter if I'm not actually in the chat room at the time.
