Sometimes it pays to be scary...

the end of my yard has become a meeting place for some of the homeless here, particularly the crispy contingent I think. A car has been behind our house for a while, and the owners would often be around. So today one of the higher level scum bag boys (a newish one) pet pit comes tearing into our yard after a cat...I haven't gotten to be that loud and scary in a while. They smaller group of them scampered off quickly after starting the defunked car, but kind of just went around the block and then parked behind our fence. Ma after lots of talking let them park it here one night. I got out the biggest pointiest farm implement I had and began doing yard work close enough they could hear me grunt as I hoisted piles of brush into the truck. It's amazing what work and pointy things do to scum's desire to hang around. They want neither to join in and help, or be cleaned up themselves. So after the group at the end of the yard ran away, I pulled the truck around the back where the couple with the car are, these people have ripped my sister off dozens of times, and essentially been party to someone trying to destroy her life. So I gassed it coming onto the gravel and let my tail end slide heading right for them, I stopped far short of them, but I think I might have overstated my point anyway. They were gone before I even started stamping down the brush in the back of the truck with my boots...

It's so silly, because outside of actual current danger to my animals or family, I always think there is a better way than having to clobber some idiot. So just the idea of me being scary is silly...

Farm implements are always nice to have, even down by the railroad tracks.

There is a Taqueria across the railroad tracks...and some sewer ponds on the way out of town..

I can cook a mean chunk of dead stuff...but the only folks I know who swim in those ponds are the aptly named sewer pond goats...and my friends twin sisters, but that was years ago...
