Tattoo Help (in General)

I have a couple of questions regarding tattoos.
First off; Do lower level tattoos gain levels faster when you are larger? I would presume so, since they gain a percent of the exp you earn.

Secondly:
I currently have A Jigorokano Familiar lvl 75,872, with a Max tattoo of 97,675. And 480k cash
Given that I want a Steel familiar, Would I be better off Tattoo artisting my Jig into one, buying a base one or buying a 100k one?
I would sell my Jig if I bought a new one. I was going to try and avoid artisting the Jig, because its non-spawnable and would dilute the availability. I would also avoid dealing with Lesser tattoos.

A tattoo gains 33% of your total experience so it depends on the amount of experience that you gain. The more you gain the more it levels up. It has nothing to do with you being larger.

I would advice you to keep the JF since its a supporter item and purchase a SF. Save up and get one bigger that you maximum tattoo allocation.

keep the jig, its worth much much more then a steel familiar, so buy a level 100k SF
