Is my strat bad? (in General)

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- December 12 2006 4:11 PM EST

You have participated in 1577 battles, of which you won 1052, or 67%

Seems I lose way too often... I dunno, I don't want a large team because I want to grow faster so is this a bad 2 man strat? or do I just need to be more picky about who I fight?

-Good strat, although I suggest MM if you have multiple minions. (Fireball has friendly fire in melee rounds.)
-You may want to put less hp into your PL battery and more into AS, since AS helps both minions.
-Once you become a supporter and you can use a fightlist, your win percentage will increase
-Finally, I suggest getting a tattoo as soon as you can afford one, that will greatly help you.

You badly need a tattoo; a Tattoo of Endurance on the mage would help. You can pick up a lesser until you can afford a full tattoo. It will make a big difference.

Losing way too often happens to everyone! If you inspect people's chars you can check their battle logs - a lot of teams will have less than 60% wins. Especially if you're in a clan where you get attacked a lot by other clans.

The other thing that will help you out is becoming a supporter. You get a favourites fightlist. Populate it with teams you can beat, from as high up in score as you can, will help you get more wins and better rewards, helping you grow faster.

Maddox, if you need a tattoo, i can help with that :P i have one of the 4 tattoos that you can rent free of charge for a week, until you get your own.

A Tattoo of Augmentation lvl 20
A Rune of Balrog Flame lvl 20
A Steel Familiar lvl 20
A Tattoo of Endurance lvl 20

Look up the wiki info for what each does, and if you would like one CM me

Mian got there first! I'll go along with what he said about the strat itself. It's a solid strat, once a tattoo is in place.

And with regards to win/lose percentages:

"You have participated in 69901 battles, of which you won 38154, or 55%."

That's mine btw....;)

Mine is basically the exact same as that, except with different spells on the enchantwallbattery.

You may want to consider either AMF or DM on the 2nd minion. Both of them help out quite a bit, and you will most likely need one of the two later on.

Some other things to consider would be an AoI on the mage, and full wall armor on the 2nd minion.

But, then again, I'm not exactly a whiz kid when it comes to strategy. I just do whatever works well.

I would bump the AS in favour of something else - since both Minions are training HP, it's putting XP into an easily negateable form - I use AMF, but DM would do just as well. (I use MM rather than FB, but the general idea is the same)
I also have a small evasion on my mage, but I think I only added that later, so you still might be a way from starting that.
Otherwise, looks OK to me

Yeah, I used to have a fairly significant Evasion, but as soon as I got my AoI, I got rid of it. I only lost one person off of my fight list (out of 30-35), because he had high power seekers with not-too-great DX. With Evasion, I dodged the first two shots. Without, I didn't dodge any of them.

No big deal. *shrug*

DM is good for getting rid of GA and AS, but it leaves you open to Decay, which can be brutal if your front minion has lots of HP. The other DD spells can hurt fairly badly fairly quickly, as they are undodgeable, and usually fire at you right away, building up the damage until you can kill them.

Against most mage teams, my PL battery dies rounds 3-6. :/

I forgot what I was going to say down here, now. :( *goes to watch the Oilers game*
