Mentor idea (in General)

I was thinking, after looking at the people whom I am mentoring.

I think it could help a little more with keeping people around, if mentors were able to type up their own Welcome message that would be sent, instead of the default. Maybe it's a dumb idea, I don't know. But our turnover ratio sucks right now for what I'm seeing, and we need to keep players around.

Lemme know what you guys think.

Ya I can see it now " LISTEN HERE MAGGOTS! When I say fight you say yes sergeant sir.FIGHT . I can"t HERE you. Well some of the mentors might anyways. Personal stuff is usually good Might work. How much work for Jon though??

Not every mentee wants the same treatment. Some even want to be left alone and discover a new game on their own. A neutral message is best for those...

how about when the sign up they get the option if they want a message or not, and we can still customize it...

Hell maybe they can pick "i want a generic message for myself"

or "i want a super crazy cool message from my mentor"

or "leave me along now sir!"

sorry for double post, but how about the ability to mass message all of your active mentees or something, so that you can keep in touch with them better so that they can stay active and interested?

Good ideas there hyrule.

Eitherway, I think if there is a chance to hold more players, it'd be worth Jonathans time, as he would likely see more supporters from this. And I honestly think with all the USD trades and all that, he's lossing a ton. It's time that we stand up, and try to give back to him where we can.
