Auction Bug? (in General)

Talion December 22 2006 8:32 AM EST

Here is what the auction I posted currently looks like in the listings:

A Katana [74x9] (+3) $79,297 $55,000 $55,000 5 days 12:31:09

And here is what it SHOULD look like:

A Katana [74x9] (+3) $79,297 $55,000 $80,000 5 days 12:31:09

Any idea what is going on?

Here is what the auction bids look like. Seems like the "Buy now:" was changed from 80K to 55K...

A Katana [74x9] (+3) for sale by Talion
Wiki: Katana
Ends in 5 days 11:52:17

Net worth: $79,297
Net worth is a measure of how much has been spent on upgrades, not of market value.

Actually I'm sure this happened with one of my auctions too.
I put it up for 18 hours with a start price and a buy now.
An hour later it sold at the low price. I was confused but put
it down to my own error.

Same thing happened to one of my auctions, but I figured I just entered in the amount wrong.

Is it possible that this happens when the bidder enters an amount greater or equal to the "Buy now:" amount instead of clicking on the "Buy now for $x" link?

No, my auction went for the low-low price of the starting bid which
was about 1/4 of the Buy Now.

I opened bidding on a MCM a couple days ago with the Buy Now
price and I'm sad to say I didn't get it for the starting price. :)

greater than buy now, not equal to.
