Spellcheck change request (in General)

The spell checker doesn't accept 's modifications to words unless explicitly set. This includes usernames. So while all usernames are in the dictionary, as well as abbreviations of those usernames, adding the possessive form of the noun (the apostrophe followed by an s) is not. This includes things like acronyms, and even normal nouns found in webster's dictionary.

Can the spell checker allow 's to be attached to any word currently in its dictionary?

Hey, if we're getting words added, can we get the real spellings of things added? Honour, for example...

I thought you said real spelling of words? In that case, it'd be "honor" which is already added. :P

My request would be for the poster's characters to be allowed the
same as all player names are. My character's name Reda Luu,
counts as two strikes, and when posting transfers etc., causes
grief.
Besides which, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the
nospellcheck tags aren't working for me.

You have to switch to HTML mode, which then requires more html markup to make paragraphs be paragraphs.

Putting character names in the spell checker is like putting Minion names in there... I think it's overboard. We talk about players often, so that is understandable. However, characters are referenced much less, and minions likewise less still.

British-English has a much greater chance of forming the basis of World-English (second only to Chinese in likelyhood of a global language) than American-English does. Which would make 'Honour' not only the original spelling, but the 'correct' one as well. ;)

Me (new zealander) votes for "honour" too
