New minion experience. (in General)

Has anyone done any research on the amount of experience on a new minion vis-a-vis the money spent on said minion?
For example:
500k cost = 250k exp
1mil cost = 550k exp
(note the numbers above are made up for an example)
If the research exists where might I find some insight on the trends?

I heard that the more expensive minion you get 1/3 the cash spent in xp ... so if he costs 1 million cb2 then you'd get roughly 333k xp ...

The cheaper one i believe is 1/5 the cash spent. so if the cheaper is 1 million then you'd get about 200k xp.

Correct me if I'm wrong :)

The wiki is quite helpful :)

That wiki page is quite helpful, it would probably be more helpful if the minion page (specifically 'Adding another minion') actually included that data or linked to it.

Personally I don't find it intuitive to look under 'Training'; although in fairness, the training screen is where you hire new minions so it is a logical location.

Thanks to everyone for their prompt and insightful responses.
