What is the best tattoo to use for an unarmed combat character.

The real question is how many minions you plan to have. If you plan to stay with two minions, ToE would be fine. More minions and you may want to use a RoS or even a ToA.

Depends on what you want the main focus of your UC guy to be. I'd say RoS for a general multi-minion UC team, and ToA if you want your UC guy to be your main damage dealer. Endurance if you want to use him for dodging and as a secondary damage source.
I'd say named RoE until you can't hold your breath any longer and you pass out from the weight of larger, tattoo-enabled minions.

If you have 2 minions, I say a SF or ToE would be good. Then you can equip all the gears for UC on your UC minion and the tat on the other. If you have more minions, ToA would be a better choice. RoS may not be that fantastic because you'll have to train STR, DEX and UC on the UC minion which may make your minion weak.
