Will Phantom Link be fixed this changemonth?
No...no fix, which sucks.
Edy has a PL bat, it dies in round one, or at least it would if PL wasn't bugged.
I draw edy in round 6 I think, round 5 I'm getting a triple hit on the already dead PL bat...this is cheap crap.
funny i didn't hear you complain when you had 3 PL batteries behind a heavy tank.
I'm not saying that novice. Just saying when you had Critical Fumble PL worked the same way then as it does now, only now it's to your disadvantage instead of towards it.
I still thought it was cheap...if that makes it any better...
but yeah I'm outraged to see a bug cost me a fight, I don't have a whole lot of people to attack...
Nov, it is the case that the PL bug causes the PL user to lose many more fights than it causes the user to win. That said, it's a bug, it's some very simple math, and it should be fixed.
To that end, if someone other than me brought it up, in a new thread, it might get attention.

If Jonathan does fix the PL bug, I would hope that he would give a day or two of free retraining due to massive strategy changes players will have to compensate for.

Anyone using something that doesn't seem "right", doesn't need retraining... They know they are playing with fire.
Retraining is fine, but it can't be something that happens any time anything changes, especially something that is a bug (if that's what it is).
Plenty of folks on CB1 used specific strategies based around things like overpowered ELBs, etc. When changes were made, they were not given any retraining period or compensation for pumping items in a certain way.

Why would we need another free training period for a bug fix like this when far more significant changes in the past haven't came with one?
I don't consider PL to have a bug. I like to think of it as a feature. You are all talking about the fact that a PL minion can be left with one hit point, right? The skill description does NOT specify the mechanics so just because you don't think the mechanics fit your expectations does not make it a bug. It is more of enhancement request than a bug fix.
I'm talking about the fact that hitpoints are multiplied by 1.1 instead of divided by 0.9. It's a mathematical error in that in theory, if jon wants to divide, he should divide by 1.1111111.
