Do not understand these auction results (in General)

So I used the ebay style auction system for the first time.
I got some results I do not understand.
I set a max bid on some named arrows at 200K
I looks like in the results the seller of the item, bid me up to my max bid
But it was my first time using so perhaps I am just misinterpretting what I see

BTW, mikel just sold his character to Raptor, and that is why it is messed up. Mikel was acutally the person bidding.

And i believe someone can bid on there own items to raise the price if they don't think CB will come to their rescue on a cheap item...

It's not that complicated.
I tried to get them a couple of times, then I took a wild guess that your top bid would be 200k so I bid 199,999.

hatchet man brings up a good point. this is a hypothetical question say i placed an item in auctions and someone places an ebay style bid on it can i bid the next increment just to raise their bid?
