The Australian Drop Bear (in Off-topic)

TBH never enough gabber January 23 2007 5:09 PM EST

Interesting Site on Australia's rarest and possibly most lethal Animal. i myself have narrowly been missed by drop bear attacks. Scared the you know what out of me. The rule is in Australia always look up especially on your way back from your local pub. http://www.cfr.com.au/dropbears/

It's things like this that make me proud to be Australian.

I think the drop bear is related to the wild haggis that roams the Scottish highland villages in search of empty fish & chip wrappers.

I've always found after a night out at the pub that rather than worrying about the drop bear I have to concentrate my efforts on avoiding the "drop kick" from wifey as I stagger into the bedroom at 2:00am :)

The great lakes have a kindred spirit in the lake superior furred trout. Lake superior is very cold. I've heard of the prairie rarity the jackalope . There the jack rabbits have so many predators they had to grow antlers to survive.
