Does GA return damage to the caster when hit by GA?
If so, is it based off the damage inflicted, or like Decay AMF backlash, the HP of the caster?
Could a 20HP Decay Mage take 500K in GA return if the Decay hit a target minion with over 1.5 Mil HP (for example)?

GA does return decay damage. Its based off the amount of damage inflicted by the decay minion so if decay hit for 1million damage GA would return up to 60% or 600,000 dmg. A 20hp minion with a base decay will still be able to survive the biggest of AMF's as they will never reduce its hp below 1, but GA will easily kill that 20hp minion.

I thought the damage type returned by GA was the same as the damage type dealt?
With that in mind, shouldn't Decay damage inflicted by GA also be limited to 50% of HP?
since decay isn't at all normal, that's a good question...
There are two type of damage, magical and physical. Decay is a spell and deals magical damage, so it's GA return is magical.
Fire is a type of damage. As a matter of fact, the RoBF blocks it. Explosive shots deal fire damage.

Let's look at this and see, since I have Decay...
TWO Melee rounds.
Summer's Eve takes damage from his own Decay (28081)! (AMF!)
Summer's Eve's Decay hit Sammy Davis Jr. [49471]
Sammy Davis Jr.'s Guardian Angel smote Summer's Eve (25314)
Summer's Eve takes damage from his own Decay (22848)! (AMF!)
Summer's Eve's Decay hit Sammy Davis Jr. [12472]
Sammy Davis Jr.'s Guardian Angel smote Summer's Eve (6200)

My HP at the end of that battle was:
Summer's Eve: 204,105
So the Decay coming back as GA was just as a percentage of damage, not as a Decay.
