Endurance Question (in General)

horseguy001 [Blender 2021] February 19 2007 9:50 PM EST

The Wiki states that Endurance will reduce damage by up to 75%, but how does this work in relation to a ToE? Does the ToE need to equal the damage dealt for the full 75% reduction?

It will block the full 75% reduction up to the cap of the ToE, which is something like 10-15% of its level? Unsure of the exact cap, but that's how it works.

thanks for the info

Seems I might get more damage reduction if I slap a RoS onto a base protection to max it out, but then again I would probobly be better off with the extra HP :P

A Protection won't get past Prot(33), and will hit 27 at level 173k and change. So basically, if your RoS is 4 times 173k, then you can have a guaranteed 27% damage reduction across the board from everything except AMF backlash. That's pretty good, and if your fights last long, may be more useful than AS.

Well with my RoS I get a prot level of 31...I will goof around with different set-ups when my tank is done with the RoE. Which will be about 6 months down the road :P

How much DM will drop it to 30?

horseguy001 [Blender 2021] February 21 2007 11:34 AM EST

A DM with an effect ~700k would drop it to 30, it would take a DM with an effect of ~1.1 mil to nuke it completely.
