need input on Lorenzo... (in General)

Unappreciated Misnomer February 22 2007 2:43 PM EST

the obvious score drop occurred, heh, but i need to outfit the team with what i own to balance his score , re-train is definetly an option.
heres what he looks like

William Wallace (EXP: 6,209) unlearn all for 25.5mil

HP: 1,948,000
ST: 20
DX: 20
Bloodlust: 41,000
Protection: 59,984

Princess Isabella (EXP: 5,514) unlearn all for 28mil

HP: 20
ST: 20
DX: 20
Evasion: 100,000
Decay: 1,000
Ethereal Chains: 2,018,000

Hamish (EXP: 4,483) unlearn all for 24.8mil

HP: 1,970,000
ST: 20
DX: 20
Decay: 1,000

Robert The Bruce (EXP: 5,691) unlearn all for 27.9mil

HP: 20
ST: 20
DX: 20
Antimagic Field: 2,086,500

maybe loking at ...

1 1/3HP 1/4DEX 1/3STR Archery (AC,EB,EC,BG,HoE,AoAC or AoM,ELB,BoNE)

2 EVA(40) 1/3HP 2/3MM (DB,MCM,AG,HoC,CoI,AoI)

3 GA (Corn,JKF)

4 AMF (Corn)

i dont know how at what point i should stop training GA, and maybe add another skill. i have crappy weapons but alot of decent mage gear, and there is always rentals!

I would suggest a strat similar to NWO:

1) MM
2) GA
3) DM/Prot
4) AS

You can then use RoS, ToE or pretty much any familiar with that strat.

Tezmac February 22 2007 3:44 PM EST

Except Id move your damage dealer to the one with the highest EXP.

Rubberduck[T] [Hell Blenders] February 22 2007 4:05 PM EST

you are a forger? If so I would hold out until march and see if we get another period of free retraining.

QBsutekh137 February 22 2007 4:10 PM EST

NWO strategy is fine, just be sure you keep a lot of native HP. *smile*

Oxcha strategy is very effective and well-balanced too.

Then there's the Koy strategy, the tank/wall/leech using a ToE... Another great strategy.

There's a lot of rock/scissors/paper up here, though, so it is hard to be effective against everything...

GO PATS February 22 2007 4:28 PM EST

(I'll just put my idea in, and I will go down in order of total EXP, highest MPR at the top)

1. 1/3 HP, 1/4 ST, 1/3 DX Archery (1.00) (TSA, EB, EC, BG, HoC, AoI, ELB (big x), BoNE (big x)

2. Evasion(40) 1/3 HP, 2/3 MM (DB, EH, AG, HoC, CoI, AoI)

3. Evasion (40) 2/3 DM, 1/3 GA (EH, DB, SC?, Corn, AoF)

4. AS, Junction (1.00) (JKF, EB, EG, Corn, AoF)

#3 has evasion and DB's because he will be targeted first by SoDs and you want ExShots to miss... AoF's to help with AS & GA (no DM penalty)... EB's and EG's on #4 to help with junction cost and to help JKF with DX... I suppose #4 might want an AoM instead... Put more DX than ST on #1 and pump up the x on your ELB and BoNE... EH's on #2 & #3 because the DD resist is worth the tiny penalties to DD and EO/ED's...

Expensive...

TheHatchetman February 22 2007 4:35 PM EST

what would you be trying to accomplish with only 40 evasion? With such low HP, a tank would crush you in a single strike. Evasion is all or nothing when you're dealing with low HP vs. big tanks... And using AC with EB/EC kind of defeats the purpose of the AC... AC is another all or nothing thing at the top... a heavy Evasion wall behind a AoI'd damage dealer may prove extremely valuable against tanks. then you could keep the AMF nice and large, and possibly train another AMF on your 3rd minion so it looks like:

minion 1: damage dealer (probably a BL tank with VB)
minion 2: 2m+Evasion with full elven gear(maybe large DB as opposed to EB, but they'd better be HUGE)/AoF
minion 3: all AMF
minion 4: all AMF

looking at this, I'm kinda wishing i didn't withdraw my bid... :P

TheHatchetman February 22 2007 4:37 PM EST

forgot, you may want to add a base AS with a big RoS on one of the enchanters :P

muon [The Winds Of Fate] February 22 2007 10:50 PM EST

I'm not sure how well it would work in the top flight (considering DM) but I still like my strat: similar to NWO's, but without the MM minion.

AS
AS + junction (this should be your 28mil exp char) -> SF
DM
GA

No wasted exp depending on the team you fight given that DM is useful against pretty much every team, as is GA, and your AS will always be useful.

I know, big DM's might be a problem ;-) But other than the occasional PoisoN, it should be a decent strat...

QBOddBird February 22 2007 11:43 PM EST

If you're going to fight, this is cool....

but if you are going to forge, do NOT retrain.

But I think you should fight!

sit and bleed, i was hoping to sustain a score higher than my mpr.

Unappreciated Misnomer February 23 2007 12:49 AM EST

its so overly simple it works? what about tweaking it with mage gear?
