Exbow fixed-drain portion (in General)

Karn has done some testing with my char regarding the drain of an Exbow. Attacking my monk when my exbow was at x925, x926, and x927 showed a linear increase of ST reduction of 80 per x against his 20 ST mage. Can anyone confirm this with different sized exbows?
