I'd agree if his lyrics weren't typical teenage drivel and he knew how long a 2 hour set is supposed to be.

Why is drivel not in the dictionary?

Ever seen the video of Maynard taking out some drunk guy that came on stage? He hip tosses him, get's full mount, the guy tries to get away but gives up back mount and gets choked out... and during all this, Maynard keeps singing... Good stuff.. Youtube has it.

Teenage drivel... yeah... That's like saying Janis Joplin sings like William Hung.

Most of the lines don't make sense and just refer to lost girlfriends, bullying and thoughts of suicide through highschool.
I class that as teenage drivel, if you're going to sing about the stuff, at least have coherent sentences and some linkage between them.

Tool rocks! and as for drivel, I'd have to argue about that. as davis said Maynard is a genius. Most of his lyrics aren't about or directed towards teens IMO
