Bought 720 BA Thursday and again on Friday to ensure I came into whacky time today with the full 1600 in place. Edyit created and transferred a new NCB char to me at the start of whacky time before he'd bought any BA himself today.
I used the 1600 BA on the new char and went to purchase my Saturday allowance of 720 only to find. You may purchase up to 0 BA...
Looks like I'm 720 lighter on BA than I expected to be. Am I missing something or is this the way it's supposed to be?
It's no big deal and I'll survive but just thought I'd ask just in case anyone else is planning a similar start to a NCB.

Glad you posted this - that was exactly what I was thinking for when I start my next NCB. Now I know it'd be a bad idea xD
didnt someone do something similar to this, where they had saved up like, a buttload of BA.
They hit 100k mpr in 1 day and ended up having that char be reset?
So arent you not supposed to stock up BA for a new NCB?
(i may have read wrong but thats what i got out of it)

You can, but you can now only stockpile up to 1600 BA. ~_^

nothing to do with the NCB, just a quirk of the BA system that's been around forever. I'll deploy a fix.

Thanks, they're available to buy now.
Whacky time is over, c'est la vie :)

actually no, this was an interaction with the 1600 BA cap. still got a fix tho. :)

I also had a problem with buying BA. I was told I could buy 576 BA for 38 apiece before wacky time and I bought everything. This morning I checked, I can buy another 144 BA. Why the adjustment?

It recalculated to your correct max buyable ba for your highest un-retired mpr character.. which is: 720.
