Sending money without having exchanged market rate goods is suspect for anyone, regardless of ip. Doing it on the same IP is an extra bad idea. Besides, if your friend just started playing, they won't need any help as the bonuses are huge.

Exactly. The NUB bonus is the only real bonus you could want (other than some advice, and maybe free loan of an RoE for a few days).

I wasted my NUB, so pay attention when I say: Listen to these folks! They knows what they says ;-)

Go with a single minion FB mage to start with. Fight a bit. Buy as much BA as you can afford. Fight a bit more.

Fighting equals experience = better rewards = more money and experience. Buying BA = buying fights = buying experience = ...

So, yeah, NUB chars don't need gifts, they just need an alarm clock to go off every 3 hours ;-P
