Is there a problem uploading from a Mac laptop, a G4, for profile images and such? I've always been able to do it from any other computer, has anyone else experienced similar things, and more importantly, how do i fix it?

Can you provide more detail on what problem you are having, exactly? I upload from a Mac (iMac G5) all the time, no problems...

it goes to the page that lets me browse for the picture, and enter a description, but once i begin the upload the pic, the main screen (not chat or left sidebar) whites out with the "try again" error message.
what type of file is it?how big is this image file

Moon's question is a good un; what you describe happens to me unless I resize the images. And I'm using a Mac G4 laptop...

Let me expand: what I have to do sometimes, even if the file is the right size, is 'resize' it within a picture edit programme of some description, then save it as a new file. That one should upload properly.
