Adam or TSA (in General)

I currently have both that I can use for my wall tank. The penalty of the adam is tempting me to switch to either a TSA or maybe a MC. My adam is +65 and TSA is only +37. Is it worth switching over from an adam to a TSA or MC? I can train less strength if I use a TSA but at the expense of less AC which is important because my wall tank is at the back. Alternatively I can forge up the adam so that it offers more AC which is a lot cheaper than the TSA or MC. Any opinions?

When running Lorenzo I had to use both the TSA and MGs to get past some particular opponents that I couldn't with a Adam and MGs alone.
Eventually as my char grew I found that I was eventually able to drop the TSA and use my Adam and MGs combo.

I never got to the stage that I could drop my MGs for an MS because I still needed that extra bit of mage defense to beat NWO.

In other words, it depends on your fightlist. Both are great pieces of armour but it's a case of the correct item against a specific opponent being the right choice for you :)

Its a tough choice for me. More AC or more strength and less penalties to BL on my wall tank. The dexterity of the wall tank depends mainly on the haste so the adam does not affect it. I did my calculations and adam gives me the most protection against direct damage and physical attacks. My dream is to own a +100 adam one day ;) Sigh... Looks like I'm leaning towards adam :p

Both. Put the Adam and whatnot on the Aragorn BL/tank guy and shift him backwards, then put the TSA and PL on your Wall of Resiliance guy and move him forwards. He'll regen the HP he loses PL'ing from Aragorn's already reduced damage.

I'm using the adam on my new NCB character ;)

For me the big question is whether to use an Elven Hauberk + Mage Shield for a MM wall or use a Adam + Mithril Shield and go for a huge AC.

I find EH not that appealing because it cannot be forged, meaning you have to pay a lot to get the + high and it is also more costly for each + than a TSA. I find the adam plus MgS a pretty good mix. And the + for adam is pretty cheap to get to +100.

huh 40 mil NW is pretty cheap?

Compared to a EH and TSA at +100, its definitely cheaper. Anyway, you can always stop at +80 which hits nw of 9 million plus.
