Forging stats off or something? (in Off-topic)

My reasoning is this: If you look at the PR I made specifically for the purpose of keeping up with them, I began my forge job on these HGs on February 3rd. It has been 29 days since and the 1 month standings reads:

QBOddBird ($6,335,051)

But I have completed this much of the job:

Rough Progress Meter: 92.494%

Which, for an upgrade of exactly 8 million, is: 8,000,000 x .92494:

7,399,200

And during the time I didn't have the HGs I forged up my Adam and my AoAC, 400k and 70k respectively - not to mention forging Popsicle Man's SoD up 200k or so on bought BA. So for one month, shouldn't my total be closer to:

8,370,000

?

If CB were to store fully detailed data, then that would mean store all "interesting" stats each hour of the day, 365 days a year, since January 1st, 2005. Not only does this take a lot of disk space, searching through all that data to find the right stats takes a lot of time.

Because of that, I suspect CB does average data over time, relative to how old the data is.
Averaging works fine if the data doesn't vary too much, but if you happen to ramp up your forge rate at the "wrong" moment, then it can show a 'slight' error ;)

Pretty large slight error. *grins* Thanks a ton for the explanation though! =)
