Bug: HoC Round Count (in General)

Hopefully, this will get more visibility than the derailed changelog thread...

When one team wears an HoC, this makes the division of rounds be 4 / 21 (ranged / melee) instead of the usualy 4 / 22. This allows the HoC wearer to remove a melee round from the opposing team. Since a non-HoC wearer focuses on melee, this extra round can be the difference between a win and a non-win.

huh? How can you say that's not a bug? Any one player can change the round count dynamics for both players. That can NOT be by design.

Designed. When neither players act in range the battle goes for 25 melee rounds. The cap is on total rounds, not melee rounds.

Advice: Win faster.

Is this not the same for ranged damage full stop? It just takes one player using a Ranged weapon or FB/MM to change the round count dynamics for both players.

Example:
Two tank teams with no ranged weapons - 25 melee rounds (0 ranged).
All it takes is one using a ranged weapon to change the round count dynamics for both teams.
Two tank teams, one now using ranged - only 22 melee rounds (3 ranged).

If you want the same number of melee rounds in each fight you would have to have three different maximum fight lengths - 25 rounds when no ranged occurs, 28 rounds when non HoC ranged occurs and 29 rounds when HoC ranged occurs.

Seems to me Jon just wants 25 rounds of combat per fight with the Ranged/Melee make-up determined dynamically for each fight.
