Odd PL behavior (in General)

Can someone help me to understand this?

Round 2 - I target Arges, and Arges gets his ST reduced.
Round 3 hit 1 - I target Arges, and Brontes his ST reduced.
Round 3 hit 2 - I target Arges, and Arges gets his ST reduced.
Round 4 - I target Arges, and Arges gets his ST reduced.

A PL minion should be redirected stat drain as long as he's got stat to drain. So I would think that Brontes should have absorbed the ST drain in round 2, not the first hit of round 3. What would cause this toggling back and forth between who receives the ST drain?

A minion with PL will only absorb the drain along with a hit if he absorbs the large majority of the damage on that hit. The first hit in your battle he only absorbs half of the blow, so no drain absorb. The second hit, he does absorb majority enough of the hit, so he takes the drain. His stat is now negative from absorbing that drain, so he doesn't absorb the drain from then on.

PL probably has to absorb like 60-70% or more of a hit to take the drain.. not sure the exact number.
