ok so i have 4 dollars worth of canadian coins(formerly wooden), there are 12 coins, for 10k what are the denominations of coins i have in my hand.

AdminLamuness March 23 2007 12:02 AM EDT

8 quarters ($0.25) and 4 $0.50 cent pieces.

Tyriel [123456789] March 23 2007 12:30 AM EDT

2 Loonies
7 Quarters
2 Dimes
1 Nickel

$2 + $1.75 + $.20 + $0.05 = $4

50 cent pieces are too few and far between for anybody to care about them. You most likely don't have one, let alone 4, in your hand. :P

I got a 50 cent coin from taco bell in my change :)

GO PATS March 23 2007 12:43 AM EDT

Woo hooo!!! Taco Bell!

Anyway... You have 10 pennies and 2 1.95 dollar coins.

There are lots of possible combinations, unless that "(formerly wooden)" part has something to do with it.

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] March 23 2007 11:45 AM EDT

in the UK we have £2 coins and even a few £5 coins now in circulation :)

Unappreciated Misnomer March 23 2007 12:59 PM EDT

im sure if the governemnt of Canada would want a 5$ coin they'd probably call it a 'floonie' or something stupid, and soon they might remove the penny from circulation
