8 quarters ($0.25) and 4 $0.50 cent pieces.
2 Loonies
7 Quarters
2 Dimes
1 Nickel
$2 + $1.75 + $.20 + $0.05 = $4
50 cent pieces are too few and far between for anybody to care about them. You most likely don't have one, let alone 4, in your hand. :P

Woo hooo!!! Taco Bell!
Anyway... You have 10 pennies and 2 1.95 dollar coins.
There are lots of possible combinations, unless that "(formerly wooden)" part has something to do with it.
mooninites(dpc forging) (Lorenzo) 142.167.35.207 Tyriel (Zed) $10000 -- who knows his change 11:28 AM EDT
tyriel got it. yesterday i had change in my pocket that added up to 4$, it was....
1 toonie
1 loonie
3 quarters
2 dimes
5 pennies
and yea we crazy canadians have a 2 dollar coin we call a 'toonie', watch out for us crazy canuks
in the UK we have £2 coins and even a few £5 coins now in circulation :)
im sure if the governemnt of Canada would want a 5$ coin they'd probably call it a 'floonie' or something stupid, and soon they might remove the penny from circulation
