Spelling dictionary editor added (in Changelog)

AdminJonathan March 29 2007 11:50 PM EDT

For (full) admins.

Not that I don't trust the other admins, it was just easier to just drop it in the full-admin subdirectory. :)

There shouldn't be that much to add anyway, since requests for txt-speak will be ignored. :)

What is the precedent for English vs American spelling of words ending in 'or'?

QBOddBird March 29 2007 11:56 PM EDT

Very nice! Another popular request granted...=)

[T]Vestax March 29 2007 11:57 PM EDT

Add RoBF and SF please.

SNK3R March 30 2007 12:14 AM EDT

Interesting.

There's always 'lvl', which is used when copy pasting tattoo information.

Brakke Bres [Ow man] March 30 2007 8:40 AM EDT

thes es speled so wrong thet tha spel chekcer cen't reconize it.

However im getting no warnings what so ever about the sentence above this one. Is the spell checker busted?

Xenko March 30 2007 9:49 AM EDT

Teh spel chekur iz buzted!!

No wonder the CB acronyms I was checking didn't show any spelling errors. I just assumed that the admins were very efficient.

AdminJonathan March 30 2007 9:58 AM EDT

yeah, somebody added a word with an underscore to the dictionary; ispell didn't like that

I added a warning to the dictionary editor to catch this. I'm sure there will be more.

AdminG Beee March 30 2007 1:00 PM EDT

I bet some dumb admin added "G_Beee". I know Bart isn't that dumb so it was prolly that other guy.

Oops...
