I'm a noob (in General)

I've been playing for a few days now, mainly hack and slash to get better weapons... I think I'm doing OK, but any good advice on what to concentrate on? Thanks all!!

St and DX are unnecessary on a mage or an enchanter. I've also found that 1 main damage dealer works the best with a supporting cast around him. You may also want to look at getting either DM or AMF. And becoming a supporter has some real perks as well.

If you ever become serious about the game and you think you'll play often, I have to second getting a supportership. It is a must, especially if you ever think about clan fighting.

Too many abbreviations, guys ;) DM = Dispel Magic, AMF = antimagic field - both enchantments. CM = chatmail, NUB = new user bonus (this allows you to catch up with the bigger scorers)

It'll say NUB on their page somewhere Im sure, lol, but yes, NUB = New User Bonus (Increased rewards, Money and Experience, a set % over the average user).

Read the "Help!" (Wiki) section... it has a massive amount of good information on strategies (some dated) and how to outfit yourself.

Read the forums - and ignore the one or two angry people :-) when you do it. Lots of excellent information in the forums and lots of really nice folks helping out.

Fight - Fight - Fight. Your New User Bonus (NUB) time seems like forever until it runs out.

Don't be disappointed when you reach the end of your NUB and seems things to be much harder - Keep playing and fight that much more! It really is only a matter of perspective. That NUB is so good that it makes the after time seem rather pitiful - until you realize that everybody else is in the same boat.
