Thank you, CB (in General)

Okay, recently, it seems Cb has been willing to bring new people in. Perfectly understandable. But today, on the 29th of April, I, personaly, have seen the most intelligent conversatiion on CB. (Of course, maybe not the most intelligent, but the most intelligent I have taken part in) Yes, we were discussing religion at first, then politics. In a perfectly intelligent way. No flames, only highly groundfooted ,'blue collar' discussion. I may have been inebriated, but in my hour there, in chat, I have truely enjoyed every second of that discussion. Thanks to all who took part in that discussion, whoever you may be. You are the proof quality prevail against quantity.

That's the stuff that got me hooked. On my 3rd & 4th day playing CB there was a range of debate over healthcare in the UK and Canada. America was by good fortune excluded. Was then that the internet gave me hope in the internet. Of course that is a broken dream these days. Unless you want to politically blog this is probably the best free community for quality conversationalist even with the many limitations to speech. Which most of us who care know these rules to be what makes for better,to more meaningful, exchanges. Is a fine day when we can remember what keeps us coming back, besides BA.
