I was planning out my next NCB, which will start out with 2 minions. The UC tank will have all the basic UC equipment and a MgS. The problem is that I can't figure out what the second minion is gonna do. I plan on the second minion using an RoE though, so when it gets a big enough gap, I can retrain and make the bigger minion the UC tank. But I'm thinking I might make it train decay and GA. Since I have a MgS on my UC tank, I can greatly reduce DD. And I plan to have an exbow too, which in combination with my UC's evasion, should help me out with tanks. Decay is helpful cause it's decay. And GA could maybe be really useful. Any ideas/suggestions/criticisms for my NCB strategy?
You might want to consider Dispel Magic as well, or EC will be a major pain for you.
I've found that GA is the biggest weakness for my ToA archer (he essentially kills himself in ranged against a big GA), so I agree that's a good choice here for you, as well.

Go tank killer, UC tank + EC minion, drop the RoE on it so it has huge STR and DX cutting along with UC's inherent Evasion, then if you have spare stat points either go GA or Protection. ^_^
I really like OB's idea. Tanks annoy me and I guess I can live with being hunted by mages, although mages are annoying too.
I am doing something similar- 2 minion, 1 elb w/ ROE and 1 UC w/ axbow and mgs. Works really well against tanks, fb mages and GA hurt though.
The second minion uses the extra roe experience for enchantments. Not sure how well it will work in the long run, but is doing fairly well at the moment.

Miami Vice used to be a two minion UC team as well, it rocked in the lower levels. I decided to use AMF instead of EC, to counter all those mages out there. It helped me quite a lot, hehe.
First minion:
HP, STR, DX, UC, base Prot
All UC gear, axbow
Second minion:
VA, AMF
RoE
However, in the higher levels my UC tank got outweighed by ToA tanks quite a bit. To make sure he'd make it to melee I bought a third minion at 900k MPR, a PL wall. Right now, I'm even thinking of buying a fourth one to be able to use EC, just to counter big tanks. I need to be able to land some hits to be able to win!
So, OpVines, going EC is really not such a bad thought. Beware of all the mages though, they'll fry your monk in no time :p

Walls will always hate you.
a huge evasion minion is also an effective tank killer, just look at me and Karn. :) only problem is that DD slaughters me...
although, with UC, i guess it goes inherent with OB's idea ;)
