Evasion wall, how? (in General)

I'm not requesting they be removed, as I possess a damn good one. But I don't understand the concept of them working the way they do... Especially in ranged, where they are at their best, the concept of "I'm going to protect my team by making sure i get out of the way" escapes me... :P

The secret is to stand a few metres away from the rest of your team, wear a clown-suit, and make faces at the opposition.

That's freaky Muon; I was just about to post about pulling faces at the enemy, then turning sideways so they're distracted looking for you.

Oh. I forgot I was Psychic now.

In all seriousness though; I'd never thought about using evasion that way until I think it was Horseguy had an evasion wall. I'd ran UC teams a couple of teams but I'd always considered it a way of avoiding getting hit. I hadn't thought it of it in terms of putting yourself in the line of fire. Matter of perspective I guess.

Thanks Hatch for pointing out that evasion walls are senseless, illogical, and completely unrealistic...

The other perspective is that we don't really fight single file, and that in order to shoot at the guy in "front" you have to aim away from the other minions. It's a bug that's not a bug, a peculiarity of CB's fight system more than anything. I tend to think lowly of walls period, so this is just one more tank item misused on meat shields. Evasion should function in a manner similar to the AoI, meaning if you get out of the way, the person behind you better watch out!

Or the guys run off at varied distances, the wall moves out of the way, and since the guys behind see this, they are given time to move... lol I have no idea... argh lmbo

It could be argued that the higher your accuracy, the less chance there is of hitting someone else. Archers with a low accuracy should have a chance of their shots going wild and hitting other minions
:-)

An evasion wall is like Bruce Lee. You are way busy fighting him, but he's so darn quick, you never get to hit him! In a way, an evasion wall is just being arrogant. "Hey, you can't hit me!" So you get angry and try to hit him. In the meantime, other minions take the opportunity to shoot fireballs at you :p
