Tattoo advice ! (in General)
Hey there people.
I am facing a difficult choice right now, which is to choose which tattoo I will be sticking with from now on, and probably for a rather long time. In my possession is a Rune of Solitude at Lvl. 707 616, probably way below what I would need to be efficient. Before I reink of insta though, I want to make sure I settle with what's the best choice for my team. Here is where I hope you guys will chime in! Help me make a good choice, eh? I'd appreciate your input, as always :)
My strat looks like: (Lots of rented items here!)

Given that your damage dealer is fairly self sufficient I'd consider the tattoo of choice for the more defensive tank strat; the ToE. You may need to raise your tank's HP levels somewhat but where the ToE is concerned I've found you get more effect for the level than you would get with a ToA for instance.
But, you may ask, what about DM teams? And to that I say, what about DM teams? The majority of DM teams around are 'quick kill' strats, quite low in HP, more focused on their forms of damage. So to combat that, (raising your tank's HP helps here as well) focus some cash on your ranged damage output. You'll do them enough damage to take them out earlier on, making your need for more HP less urgent.
Alternatively you could go ToA. Your tank, even with a 700k level tattoo would then be much bigger, stronger, faster and you could focus xp spend on HP/UC. And you would get some nice bonus PTH. You would lose the extra evasion and UC level from the Gi and EC though; and the use of the mage shield.......
I'd be more inclined to go with a ToE for your particular team though. You could keep the build without having to change anything.

I'm in total agreement with JW, go ToE. You don't want to go ToA on a UC tank preferably, as its Gi-boosted Evasion is its strength, and the ToE will help you a ton against both mages and tanks. =)
Thanks for your insight :)
One thing I don't get, though.
You make it sound as if, opposed to equipping a tank with a ToA, equipping it with a ToE does not forsake the use of the Gi, and MgS.
Or are you suggesting equipping the ToE on another minion?

That's it exactly; put the ToE on one of the enchanters. Remember, it has an aura.....
Ok, all clear now, thanks :)

Assuming you choose the ToE...
I would equip the ToE on Russell Crowe. Your tank already has a lot of Evasion protecting it. So equipping the ToE on Crowe would add protection against MM.
Also, train base DD spells on Train base DD spells on Drunken Belligerence and Russell Crowe in order to re-direct Seeker ammo away from your tank.
Excellent advice, Talion. I would never have thought about training DDs to redirect seeker ammo. Will try it out .

I merit no credit. I took the idea from Cookie Monster because he has been using it against my single minion tank.

Okay, both the RoS and ToE are a good choice. People keep saying ToE, and I do NOT disagree. But because I believe in choices, so...
Go IF. The UC shouldn't have much problems with archers, so if they use seekers, so what? But the IF will help a huge amount against walls and enemy tanks. Just an alternative really, because RoS and ToE are both probably better choices. But I think IF could be used to -some- use here. EC would stop being an issue, and same with quick kill DM teams, as long as they weren't using large FB. But who uses FB anymore?
Hmm, the ToE option tempts me. I already tried an IF, for a long time actually, from lvl 20 to almost 650k, I have no intention to go there again O_O But thanks for your suggestion Godwolf.
Now, if I was to re-ink to a ToE, would my familiar be high enough to compete or should I insta it up?

I would get a bigger tattoo if you can. And if it is possible get a tattoo that is bigger than your max tattoo level. This way you are maximising your power; getting the most out of that tattoo that you can possibly get.
So, ehhh, FS-WTB threads teach me that insta- ups for tattoos are done at about 25% networth rate. That means if I am to jump to a 32mil NW tattoo from my 16mil one, i'd have to pay 4mil? Is that a realistic prize?

Small change really in the long run especially if it helps you climb higher than where you are now. And I think it will.
Okay, I guess I am going to go quest around for a decent ToE :)
Thanks people!
