"the dwarf grabs the..." your not doing it ..." ??? (in New players)

I need help forging my halberd, When ever I try to forge it, it doesent work.. I just get a stupid message saying the dwarf dipped it in the water... Iv gotten it to yellow and brown spots, Iv gotten it to dark red, iv gotten it to blue spots and every time I try to quench it in water the dwarf pops up again... what exactly is the correct formula for forging?

At such an early stage, it would be better for you to spend your BA on fights, which give you cash. You can then buy the upgrades for the halberd or even better, save for a rare weapon which is cheaper to upgrade in the long run. Cheers :D
