Thinking about my next NCB: ED all the way (in General)

Since my current (and essentially unused) NCB is soon to expire I've been thinking about what to do with the next one.

My current leaning is towards some CoC/EO configuration

Minion 1
AS
Minion 2
GA
Minion 3
CoC (2/3), Prot (1/3)
RoE up to 900k mpr
Minion 4
AS

At 900k MPR I'd drop my 1.4mil tat (in Ros) form onto most likely an AS minion.

Or maybe 1/3hp and base Prot on Minion 3 and drop the RoS on there.

My thinking is that an essentially 'maxed' Protection is more useful than a ToE on and GA team as it reduces small damage less and big damage more. (obviously this is notwithstanding the effects of DM).

So, again notwithstanding massive DM, the GA ought to be doing quite well against most of the incoming damage with the CoC to mop up Enchanters and weakend mages and tanks.

Seekers are an issue, as is AMF backlash (c'mon new gloves!) and GA. That said I could throw in a medium DM.

Anyway, I'd appreciate someone taking the time to point out the gaping flaws in my theory.

my first char was essentially (rather ended up in its later stages)
1. ga
2. dm
3. As
4. MM

During free retraining, i tried the double AS combination, as well as CoC, MM, even FB.... I have to say, in the top 50 position at that time, my final configuration gave me the biggest fightlist.

Of course, things might be a little different now, but give it a shot!

(p.s. I used an SF, RoS, and ToE and found SF to be the most useful)

I wouldn't waste the RoS on Protection. A 100k protection gives you (24) level and really doesn't take much XP to build.

350k protection gives you about (32) - after that it isn't worth training. I think a 5 million protection only gives you somewhere in the region of (34).

And from my own experience - A ToE is much much better than Protection; if only because it reduces AMF backlash.....

You'll want AMF and DM as well.
