Is there any way? (in General)

Is there any way to find out what day you started on CB1. I made my char here within 19 days of cb1 starting. Unfortunately I didn't have internet connection on the first of the month because of a phone problem or I would have started Jan1, but I was just wondering if there was a way to find out how long I have been playing CB all together. Thanks for any info.

You used to be able to search google archives iirc however CB1 is now so far back that you can no longer retrieve the info.
I remember SNK was always linking from the archives a while back but I know most of those links are now "page not found errors" on our forums. If there's another way, then I don't know it.

Cylo, looks like this is you:

Here's how to do it:
-- Type in "Wayback machine" in Google. Go there.
-- Type in www.carnageblender.com and search back in time.
-- Go to a busy year, like 2004, and click on a time period where you think you would have had forum activity.
-- That will bring up the main CB title screen from that time period. Click on the "Community page" link below the login boxes.
-- You are now in forums. Click on the month you want off to the right, and then search for your username on the page.
-- Go into that thread, and click your link. You will see your page!
There's lots of classic stuff back on there... Forums work because they are public, at least partially, so the archive spiders were able to gather them up and store them.

I'm glad you posted how to do that Sut.
As a result of a random click I just fell over an old link to WWSD and a lovely picture of Bast, a.k.a Heather I presume.
Ah, the good old days...

Oops, yes, bad cut and paste. I am May 13, 2003.
Heather and Bast are not the same person. Heather is depicted as Phyllis Diller, and Bast is sort of depicted as Lola, the cat. There really is no rhyme or reason to it. *smile*

Novice showed me a page from the Wayback Machine a while ago, and I have been refining ways to divulge secrets from it ever since. *smile* It is also a nice way to see how many battles CB1 reached before being retired... As of December 4, 2005:
Over 165,686,691 battles served!
compared to CB2:
Over 136,084,185 battles served!

I can't find myself... this is very disappointing
Ah well, I remember having a big sale sometime between Sept and Nov of 2004 but I can't find it.
I know I existed, just can't prove it.

I was getting frustrated digging through the Forum archives.
I was about to give up when I remembered the 'X active users from the past 7 days' link on the community page. You can click it then go through the 30 some pages there to find yourself (Use Ctrl+F to speed up the process).
