So the things I find odd are spam EH ! A keyboard that costs 1000+ strikes me as nuts. And hear I thought I was adding some variety into the mix . Fine !

?

I doubt it beats a Model M when it comes to actual using it for typing...:

So wait... The keyboard, has basically a tiny LCD screen in each key? Isn't that a huge waste? ... I think the painted on letters/numbers are good enough for me. Who would actually pay $1,500 for that besides Bill Gates, or someone on the next episode of MTV Cribs?

The Optimus Maximus is the way of the future! ;)

Did you guys notice "Every button on the keyboard is easy to remove in order to clean or replace." What does that mean? I'll have to replace a key once every week due to a short or some such crap? I'm not paying 5 bucks for a keyboard key. It'll stay like that.

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] May 25 2007 5:34 PM EDT

Red, it means that if you need to clean them or replace the, at any point due to accidents and/or spillages then you can.
Why do people always take the 'just in case' stuff a little too seriously?
I mean, some medication can result in death in worst case scenarios, doesn't mean you wouldn't take it to get rid of your current pain/illness.

I can understand cleaning, but if I'm paying a grand and a half for a keyboard, the thing better not break until I've used it for 5-6 years... I'd be able to buy a computer for the cost of that...

Zoglog[T] [big bucks] May 25 2007 6:45 PM EDT

It is a lot for a keyboard and I'm pretty sure only those with nothing else to spend it on will buy one. And no matter how much you spend on a keyboard, spillages and food crumbs are going to break it and stop the keys working well which is exactly what is happening to my laptop 9 months after I bought it.

Zoglog, IBM (err, Lenovo) Thinkpad T series laptops do have drain holes under the keyboard :)

AdminQBVerifex May 25 2007 8:05 PM EDT

I think this is more then enough for anyone:

[RX3]Cotillion May 25 2007 8:14 PM EDT

That is sweet... wish i had the cash. I'd buy one.
