Could the old supporter item appear in the black market(since it's a black market) but with a huge total of vote needed?
huge as in double the number of votes required for the ELB :) So that it will indeed take an organized group effort, and a higher CB turnout that will create the necessity for such items :)

I can't see this being enough to keep the price reasonable. This will only allow the richest players to have more of them and the up and coming rich to them.

I would totally hate if that happened. That's the bonus of the supporter item. It's something you have that people just can't get anymore unless a person that was in game when they were sold is willing to sell one. It's a nice perk that I personally would hate to have change.

:) as i said... allow new supporters to buy the items too but for a higher price then the current one maybe USD $10 or 15 that would keep the prices high but not that high

Jon always reasonably evens stuff out with new supporter items(which we might see a new one next month hopefully) so just wait for that. I know you would like to get them and so would I, but they aren't the only really powerful items out there. I used to never say this, but have faith in Jon. =P
