AoF, Junction and Familiars. (in General)

I've got some questions on this.

At the moment, the AoF doesn't work with Junction. We know it doesn't work with ED and we can't really test to see if Skills work (as that's only Archery on a Hal - no idea if the JKF Endurance is classed as a skill or not...)

So the benefits of the AoF don't work, does the negative? Does a Familiar take increased AMF backlash or increased EC effects?

If so, when the AoF 'bug' is fixed, will the negative (increase of EO versus AoF wearer) effects of the AoF be removed by a 100% Junction?

OK, now I'm properly confused... I thought I'd test the AMF backlash of my familiar with my AoF on and off. Did this a couple of times versus the same opponent as nearly every other fight leveled my tattoo and though the backlash damage out to the previous results. ;)

With the AoF I took a 14% AMF backlash

Without (versus the same oppoent) I took a 16% one.

Somehow the AoF was reducing the AMF backlash my Familiar takes.

I have no idea how or why. :/

(Unless the CoC of my Familiar is classed as a 'skill' or the AoF is bugged with Junction to increase DD levels. :/)

It was a result of your familiar being upped, I tried it using my setup and still got hit with .25 from Bast's big AMF...

Upped by what? There is nothing that an AoF should up on an Ice Familiar.

Unless it's bugged and raises it's DD level, or working as intended and sees the CoC as a skill...

An idea bought up by Johnny. Is the AoF working wonky with NS? Maybe it's increasing thier effects?

Although, if the NS were getting the 50% increase STR/DEX does, I should be seeing a 5% AMF drop (+10 NS) not the 2% I saw. :/

I mean as a function of your familiar growing...

All I know is that with full junction, a +10 named AoF and NSs, I saw no change in the AMF cast on me.

That's very strange Nov. I'll go get some BA and try again. I fought the same opponent a few times, alternating the Amulet on and off, and while the Backlash damage grew I went 14% (on) - 16% (off) - 14% (on) - 16% (off), which should not have happened no matter how quickly my familiar was growing.

A Few more fights, versus two different opponents.

four fights in sucession each. With AoF first on then off.

Even taking into account my familiar growing a small amount with each fight (I lost every fight versus the second opponent, so the XP gain was tiny...) there is *no* reason that the AMF effect should fluctuate just because I'm putting on and taking off my AoF.

It's not a display bug (like not showing the increased ED AoF suffers from), as the amount of AMF backlash I took increased when the AMF backlash percentage increased.

There has to be a bug here.
