This will basically work like hangman. Guess a letter, send 5k to The Istari Order. *Note: there is no punctuation included in the dots: no commas, periods or apostrophes.

Winner gets 100% of the plot!

This is the line of one of my favorite poems. Your job is to piece together the stanza, discover what poem it is from, read it, and determine the name of he who speaks these words:

ユユ ユᅠユユ ユᅠユユユユ ユユユ ユ ユユユユユユユᅠユユユユ
ユユユᅠユユユᅠユユユユᅠユユᅠユユユᅠユユユユユᅠユユユユ
ユユユᅠユᅠユユユユユᅠユユユユユᅠユユユᅠユᅠユユユユユユユユユユユ

5K sent.

The letter "L", please!

QBsutekh137 June 20 2007 11:59 PM EDT

Won't need that "L" after all:

======================
Stanza three from "The Yarn of the 'Nancy Bell'" by W. S Gilbert:

"Oh, I am a cook and a captain bold,
And the mate of the NANCY brig,
And a bo'sun tight, and a midshipmite,
And the crew of the captain's gig."
=======================

There aren't a lot of words (at least many that make sense) of the form n*n**. I knew the words before were "of the" (or could at least guess). So I searched Google for "of the nancy", and lo, an answer was had.

Mind you, I searched for a LOT of other things first. The double-o in the first line was tempting: poor, look, pool... "Nancy" got me a lot further.

Great contest!

*smile*
